Not as sturdy as expected
Good height (we now have quite the climber on our hands) but some of the screws didn’t catch the tread; I had to return the second one we purchased for a refund.

Not what I was hoping it was
!. buy the Summer Infant Extra Tall Decorative Walk-Thru Gate model number: 07600.
It is a better gate. The latch on this one does not work as well.

Less Than Impressed Overall
I purchased this gate in black. It was unclear that the FULL size included the extensions, so I really didn’t get what I needed.

Tall and secure
This gate is excellent. We had originally intended to put it at the top of the stairs, but the hand rail gets in the way because the gate is so tall.

… I suggest you pay particular attention to the width of your stairway/doorway before purchasing this gate (or any other gate for that matter).
